M.S. 129 Guitar Ensemble
Every child at M.S. 129 learns how to play the guitar in our Guitar Lab. Selected students are invited to join Mr. McCumber’s Guitar Ensemble. The group has performed at various school events, such as the Talent Show, Mother’s Day/Father’s Day celebrations, and graduation. They have also performed at public events including a special performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The Guitar Ensemble has been televised and also performed for music legend Carlos Santana!

During the pandemic, our amazing M.S. 129 Guitar Ensemble was still making music with Mr. McCumber, creating recordings of FADED AND NUNCA ES SUFICIENTE. You can also view the Guitar Ensemble's performance of 7 YEARS at the Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony.
