Parent-Teacher Conferences take place from 4:30 PM-7:30 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Please contact your child's teachers using the Staff Directory to make schedule a time to discuss your child's academic standing and progress in class. Just click on each teacher's name from the Staff Directory to sign up or send an email for a conference.

The 8th grade New York State Science Exam will be administered on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Students should be to school no later than 8:00 AM.

The New York State Mathematics Exam will be administered on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 and Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Students should report to school no later than 7:30 AM to get breakfast. Please note that 8th graders only will be taking the Computer Based Test for the NYS Math Exam.

School will be closed for Spring Recess from Monday, April 22, 2024 to Tuesday, April 30, 2024. School reopens on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Enjoy your break and Happy Passover to those who celebrate!

Students are invited to show their school spirit during Holiday Spirit Week from Monday, December 18th to Friday, December 22nd. Students who do not wish to participate must be dressed in school uniform. See flyer for details!

Eye on Education will be examining scholars and fitting them for eyeglasses on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Fill out the Google form to consent to the exam for your child. Contact Ms. Bennett if you have any questions.

Spring Spirit Week kicks off on the Monday after the NYS ELA Exams! Students should show their school spirit by participating in each theme for Sprit Week. Color Wars kicks off on Monday!! **Students who do not participate in any day of Spirt Week must wear their school uniform on that day.

On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, NYC schools will be closed in observance of Eid al-Fitr. This holiday is celebrated by Muslims worldwide because it marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.

The NYC area will experience a partial solar eclipse beginning at 2:00 p.m. on April 8. Please note that, except during the brief total phase of a total solar eclipse, when the moon completely blocks the sun, it is unsafe to look directly at the sun without specialized eye protection for solar viewing. Regular sunglasses, polarized or otherwise, are not a safe replacement for solar eclipse glasses. We have purchased solar eclipse viewing glasses that will be distributed to all students.
